Volcano 12 Help

I order some parts and i got the Volcano 12 fan, and it has three functions, 1: full speed 5500 rpm, 2: tempature control, fan speed auto, or 3: manual speed 2000-5500, i am wondering which is best if i am going to over clock my athlon 2500+ mobile in my abit nf7-s nforce to board with a gig of Mushkin ram?

Full speed would be best for overclocking but noisy. The other settings are to make it quieter but at a sacrifice of cooling. Experiment until you find the best for your own preference.
