I feel like playin a good RTS. I remember enjoying Age Of Empires sooo much. Then came AOE 2 which was so-so...and then Rise of Nations was very fast passed..no real camp ground.

Any new, or somewhat old RTS out there that is focused on the Cavemen or Tribal aspect? I also dislike 3D style RTS/RPG such as Warcraft 3...not my thing. I like em simple, but full of opritunity..such as Stronghold, Stronghold Crusader, Age Of Empires 1, etc. Was Starcraft any good? never player yet.

Yes, I would recommend that one 100%. Also age of empires 2, and the expansion. LOTR: battle for middle earth, is also pretty good, i am working on it right now. Civilization 3, and alpha centauri, are rts-like games, also very good.

Dang Warmhammer is 3 cds... too lazy to download. I might check into buying it.
Do you guys know of an RTS that includes:
Nice Graphics (no 3d close-up Empire Earth Poopey PixelZ)
Nice Survival were you protect someone or a group of people maybe.
Realistic needs such as people needing food.
Not a widespread timeline (these tend to have something negative in return)

Basicly, I may just want to wait untill Stronghold 2 comes out. I have enjoyed the Stronghold serious for a very long time.

Rome: Total War was recommended by X-play. Is it worth the hype?
Would be cool to have a gangwar-rts, were you conquer territory like in San Andreas...but this time, you can choose to be from many different classes of people. Italian Mafia, Ghetto Gangsters, Mexican Homeboys, etc. Build and construct in your territory.. wage armys of members.. follow a police bribing system to stay cool. Would be pretty tight if it were built right. Rockstar and Blizzard combined... hell-ova-team.

Well, there is Gangsters and Gangsters 2. It's the only mafia-themed RTS I've heard of, but they aren't very good.
