    Im hoping to order all these things today from newegg for my Christmas Present , my budget was supposed to be 700$ but some how got up to 760 , which isnt so bad. Im planning on overclocking processor as high as I can , thats why i have an expensive ( low cas latency ) ram and DFI motherboard. Im wondering what are you alls' decision n these specs , beside the video card and Socket number of the cpu (i get these alot so sorry ) . Im planning on getting another powersupply for the case, so thats not a bigg worry for me .

    Anyways the Total is approximately $757.64

    Just so you know....
    My DFI LanParty board refused to POST or in any way recognize my 9600XT vid card.
    Worked fine with my backup nVidia card, but not the Radeon.
    The ATI card is fine on my Chaintech board though.

    Don't know if this is an isolated glitch or a general problem with the DFI.

    There's a compatibility issue with Radeon cards and some mobo's, not just Radeon 9600's and not just DFI mobo's.

    I've had similar problems in the past, at least your's wouldn't post, I spent the best part of a week trying to get this problem fixed. Haven't touched a Radeon card since.
