Anyone know any good themes for Firefox 1.0? Getting tired on the default one.

I used to use one called Orbit(al) or something similar a while back and I really enjoyed it, so if anyone knows where that is, it'd be appreciated.

Oh, one more thing... did anyone manage to find a fix for FF on this forum where the line goes through the user name?

Scroll down this page to find Phoenity Orbit

Found this one just this morning...
Orbit Yellow - A Px Classic (my personal favorite) clone for FF 1.0.

    Orbit Grey is available from...
    Code:
    http://65.39.151.149/Orbit-Grey.jar
Also, did you know you can update old themes yourself fairly easily?

Download the theme instead of installing it directly from the web.
Extract the downloaded .jar file into a new folder using winzip or similar.
(change the file extension from .jar to .zip if you have any problems opening the compressed file - just be sure to change it back to .jar when you're done)

Look for a file called install.rdf. Open it with notepad and look for a line of code that will look something like this:
    Code:
    <em:maxVersion>0.9.0+</em:maxVersion>
Change the max version number from 0.9.0+ to 1.0+
Save and close install.rdf then zip everything back into a .jar file.

Install the theme as usual by dragging and dropping it into the firefox themes window.

A small warning though - when using this little hack, some new firefox features that weren't present in previous versions might not be displayed when using an old theme.

As for the strikethrough tag, I think that just plain didn't work since we changed to VB.

No, no... He's asking about the issue with the poster's name and title off to the left. For example, yours is:

On Firefox, there's a line, similar to a strikethrough, over "SubEucalypt". I assume it's supposed to be an 'underline' or 'border-bottom' for the username, but it's positioned way too low.

Well only difference between my firefox and everyone elses is this tweak I did (made the names smaller) so try it:

    browse to: C:\Documents and Settings\name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.xxx\chrome\

edit the file "usercontent.css" and add:
    a[class="bigusername"] { font-weight:bold; font-size:1em !important; }

that's only explanation I can think of that the underline is in the rightplace for my firefox and no one elses

Ahh, I get it now. I have underlining of links disabled in FF, so it's no wonder I misunderstood.
Don't see the need for an underline when links are usually a different colour to regular text anyway.

So for me, this is how it appears:

@ Rossco: heh... as you can see from the pic, I'm also using your usercontent.css font tweak for FF.
Have been since it was posted just after the change over to VB.
I'm sure there are several others using it too. Don't recall if I got around to thanking you for it at the time, so just in case... Thanks!
