I´ve noticed something.

the other day, Azureos lost conection with a Tracker, so I tough, ¨Dam, there goes my download¨... but still, it keept downloading, and at a pretty good speed.
Yesterday the conection (with tracker) was restored and since then, and after a closely obcevation, I notice that, Im downloading more with the conection to tracker off, that when its activated!
Not that it is a big deal, just that I tought it was interesting.

Could be random fluctuations, but maybe the communication with the tracker causes brief slowdowns. The torrent will keep donloading if a tracker goes down because you maintain connection with the peers and seed that you were connected to before. Maybe it is because under these conditions the torrent system is closed , no new leechers, so the bandwidth is just being used between those that are still connected.

But yeah it is no big deal and you lose the ability to reboot your client and start up again when the tracker goes down so that is much more important than having a few more kbps
