Thread: Fraps + Converting

  1. #1
I use fraps to record gameplay but the filesizes it makes re massive (1gb a minute) this is becuase it doesnt have to compress it so it just saves i as raw data, now i have maybe 40 of these video files so i need a program to bacth covert them to Divx/Xvid/whatever.

    Get VirtualDub

    # Select File->Open and choose the AVI in the Fraps directory you wish to compress.
    # Select Video->Compression and choose the codec you wish to compress with
    # Select File->Save As AVI and specify a filename for the new AVI.

make sure you have 'encoding' codecs installed.
