Thread: Limewire Alternative?

    I'm looking at different programs that run on the same network as Limewire. Limewire is too big of a resource hog. What program is as good as Limewire. Also are their different version's of Limewire that don't use as much resources, right now I'm using version 4.26pro.

    If your computer can't handle LimeWire Pro, then Shareaza is your best bet.

    2.4ghz, 512mb ddr, should be good enough

    It's just annoying playing songs at the same time when Limewire is open because they keep on skipping

    you aren't using limewire's built in player i hope.
    if you are try disabling it and use your default player

    I tried using both itunes and windows media but it still skipped, I have disabled the player and other settings.
