    anyone know a program i can use to select text on scanned image?

    preferably free or easy to get

    Try googlin OCR scan.

    Got a couple of demos at least that way.

    What do you mean "Select Text?" You could tell your scanner software to send the scanned image it takes to Paint or Photoshop or whatever crap you use, then you can select the text that way? Or do you mean like highlight, and copy it? If you just wanted to Highlight, and Copy it, couldlnt you just type it out?
