How would you like a big upgrade for free?
Simply change your FSB from 100MHz to 133MHz and boost your processor speed to 1466MHz, which is what your XP1700+ should be running at.

agreed. well i think he should bump it up to 133 (isn't much actually now that i think of it) and get that 256. should set him right till the next upgrade, which shouldn't be too long either.
