  1. #1

    Surprised/Amazed

    Hi,

Just got a new Hard drive 120GB and maybe want to Partition it,
i.e. Half for a back-up of my system and the other for General Storage.
First question is, is it easy??
And secondly do i need a special piece of software or can windows Xp do it?
If so which is easiest and best

    Cheers

    Windows XP can do it.

Control Panel > Performance & Maintenance > Admin Tools > Comp Management > Storage > Disk Management > Done

Or try Partition Magic. Best bet and easiest for what you want is the first idea though
