Good program to raise volume of speakers ?

It seems that my old ibm speakers doesnt really seems to have a loud volume with my new system (look at my sig) , and also the it doesnt have a volume adjuster , and also when i watch most movies like avi , the volume sounds so low when i put it to the max . So i was wondering if anyone knew of a good program/software which would help to increase the volume of the speakers , please ?
