    After recently using Gmail, and am finally getting emails in, i have a question.
    If some one replies or i forward to an email, all of them stay within that one email.
    Is it possible to disable this feature, so that all emails that come in are placed seperatly.

    For example,
    I write an email called JOJO and people reply to it, it looks like this in my inbox;

    me, john, suzy, mary, me, fred (6) JOJO

    how i would like it is,
    john JOJO
    mary JOJO
    suzy JOJO
    fred JOJO

    (and no references to "me")

    Thank you in advance.

    I don't believe it's possible to disable this feature, called CONVERSATIONS.

    However, I think to evade the feature you can:
    1) Don't use the "reply" feature
    2) Use different subject names for the emails

    I hope this helps!! Good luck

    If you use thunderbird or even outlook express or another email client then it doesn't do this.
    I don't think it can be disabled in the gmail site. I kinda like the idea though...it reduces clutter.
