    around here:
It seems a configuration of two EN6600GT Dual will require a special daughterboard like TYAN Thunder K8WEX to provide each fully-fledged PCI Express slot with 16 PCI-E channels, otherwise the #9 to #16 PCI-E channels of the 4th GPU won´t be connected (in 16 + 4 PCI-E channels mode).

So, the motherboard should be able to switch 8 + 8 PCI-E channels (or 16 + 4 PCI-E channels) as channels #1 to #4 for 1-1/2-1 GPUs, channels #8 to #12 for 1-2/2-2 GPUs (or channels #1 to #8 for 1-1 GPU, channels #9 to #16 for 1-2 GPU + channels #1 and #2 for 2-1 GPU, channels #8 and #9 for 2-2 GPU). This can be done by DFI nForce 4 based series, for example. But, of course, if GeForce 6600GT supports multi-GPU modes, ASUSTeK is bound to release a new board to handle two EN6600GT Dual cards at once.
it got too technical for me.

What is in "ENGLISH" Goodbye.Adieu for the French speaking crowd is a old reference "to god",a = to,Dieu = God.Also being used by the Aristocratics to show higher status.Obiviously i dont believe in the idea of God,*note to stupid people read my user name*.Then again why cant we all use this lovely thing called INTERNET.For all young and old,and thanks for bringing this off topic.TELL THEN ADIEU

Wouldn't that be "Till then adieu"?

As in: Until then to god.

nobody took out your picture. a lot of websites will only send pictures to a computer that is actually looking at their site. so when you have digit-life.com open in one window and filesharingtalk.com open in another, it LOOKS like your picture works. as soon as you close the digit-life window and try looking at filesharingtalk again, the picture will be gone.

it's designed to prevent theft of bandwidth.

ANYWAY. good link. it only makes sense that they'd make a card like that, since SLI is basically achieved by multiple chips... not necessarily multiple CARDS. 3DFX's Voodoo 5 had the same deal: two 3D graphics chips running in SLI mode on the same card. they created Voodoo 5 prototypes which contained FOUR graphics chips, but those never went into mass production-- a few of 'em did leak out into the collector's market, though, when 3DFX went out of business.
