    I'm wondering if someone may please tell me , how i add a border to an image in photoshop cs , please

    use the rectangle selection tool and draw a rectangle of the part you don't want to have a border.
    then right click that area and go to select inverse.
    now draw the border...

    that didnt work, can you please be more specific , kinda only know the basics of the program (like ms paint :x )

    right clik
    then clik "Stroke"
