Thread: No sound in Kazaa audio file ?

    Surprised/Amazed

    Really strange, how come there is no sound in some audio files iv downloaded from kazaa ? I can see the counter of time when i "play" it but so sound is there ? Help...someone..

    It's either a codec problem (are yours up to date?) or a fake file...

    Yes, version 2.4.3, strange that there is so many fake files. But its fast spredding i guess.. Thanks..

    Get mp3shield and run that everytime u run Kazaa. Erm, I also recommend not using Kazaa for music. Get ares or soulseek for that.

    Frigging christ. Will these threads ever stop? Get MP3 sheild, or get Ares or Soulseek as stated before.

    If you use Kazaa lite ressurection (the latest one 0.0.7f) it has mp3 shield built in. But it is common knowledge that kazaa sucks for music files. Its been that way for a long time now. I admit I still use it periodically, and with mp3 shield, I have found many good songs. Soulseek is the way to go tho for music. I dont use soulseek cuz i dont download too much music any more, and on the occasion i need a song, KLR suits me just fine.
