What sort of person rates a Montego or Maestro of any variety (please don't ask me to accept the MG badge is anything more than a logo) as one of their favourite drves?
Someone that hasn't driven a lot or cars? Possibly.

My favourite? Well, not the Escort MkI 1300 HLS, Cavalier MkI Sports Hatch, my current Nexia or my old guv'nor's Mercedes 230...
I really liked my Pug 205 GL. Stick-in-a-bucket gearstick and bent panelwork but the 1400cc XY type engine propelled the thing incredibly for a cheap runaround. The handling was unbelievable for a car like that and the steering had fantastic feel - it made me wonder what on earth a 1.9 GTI must be like!

Hey...I got a Nexia....or should I say Astra with a different badge...(well mine would have a badge if some little toe rag hadn't nicked it ! )

Best car I have driven was this beautiful Dodge....during my time in the US

    Best I've driven:

    Chevrolet Corvette Convertable

Fun to drive but the suspension was too firm. I would never buy one.

The Best car that I've driven was a BMW M Roadster, Its my fathers car, damn thing takes off, you hit the rev limiter so fast in 1st gear, you really have to anticipate your 1-2 shift.

My favorite was my first car, now It seems most who've posted here are from europe so time to inject some american muscle... when I was 16 I had an '87 Pontiac Trans AM, it had a cracked engin block, so I built a new engine my self, took me a year to do it... when I was done I had a chevy 350 (5.7 liters) Pushing 395 H.P. and 425 pounds of torque. It was a brute, I actually gave my friend whiplash from the acceleration. I never lost a race with it, even againt the corvette of the time ('95). Fastest I had the car going was 165 MPH car still had good acceleration at that speed, but the aerodynamics made the car very unstable. It only however got 8 miles per gallon, so it was very expensive to keep going...

I don't like cars much and I don't even own one anymore, I lease them. People keep asking me about the engine and things, don't know much about that.

The one I liked the best was an SJ413 that I had from when I was 18 til I graduated. It was on a 'C' plate so already quite old when I had it but it never broke down. Also there was a guy who owned her sister that used to park just down the street from me - one letter different on the registration plate, bless.

For those that like technical stuff. SJ413 stands for Suzuki Jeep 4 wheel drive 1.3 litre.

I didn't know how to put it into 4 wheel drive, I mostly just used it to go to lectures
