how come when i try to use system restore it restarts then it says restoration could not be complete. and i tried many diffrent days and nothing works.please can someone help me soon...thanx

possible that it went corrupt or something...
System restore is far too unreliable and it slows down the system + takes away your free space. That's why i don't use it.

so what can i do then??my computer keeps on freezing and i dont kno what else other than system restore so i could try to fix it.please help me

download and isntall a spyware scanner and antivirus scanner. (microsoft antispyware and avg are good ones).
Run some scans and remove whatever you find.

back up and re-format if you haven't in a year or more.

if system restore is failing, you wont get it back. Do a fresh install. I had it happen to me before. also, system restore will not work with Norton ghost. If you used ghost to re-install your OS image, system restore will fail.
also, did you remove a hard drive that system restore was monitoring, but isnt there now?
