Have you tryed a trojan remover? And turn off System restore.

Edit: I just read your other posts. Pray tell why is reformating and reinstalling not an option? You may find its the easiest way to solve your problem. Its not that hard to do . There are guides and people here to help.

find out which ones they are, searcg google for fixes.
mcafe and symantec have some free standalone trojan removers for specificaaly these type of situations.
It's hell in the begining but totally solvable - i had twelve once...
    my pc kept crashing etc.
Trick is to as soon as it loads up - press ctrl alt delete- taskmanager - and kill any processes that look dodgy.
Also disable any weird startup programs with this - http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
just kill any process outside of the below list
and start finding solutions to remove viruses
In relation to the Services and StartUp programs the CORE system processes(+ internet access) that need to be running for Windows to function are:
    csrss.exe
ctfmon.exe (do not disable if u need different languages-quoted from Slimy)
    explorer.exe
    lsass.exe
    services.exe
    smss.exe
    svchost.exe (x4)
    spoolsv.exe (printer...)
    System
    System Idle Process
    Winlogon.exe
    +your firewall and antivirus programs..
if any of the above .exes are named slightly different or are located outside of the system32 folder there is a big likelihood they are viruses.

    Start Windows in Safe Mode
    press f8 when booting

NOTE: This will take longer than usual. The Windows desktop will look different, and you will see a message that Windows is running in Safe Mode. If this is not the case, skip to Solution 2.

    Find and delete files
Follow these steps to locate and delete the files that were placed on your hard disk by the Trojan:

    1. Click Start, point to Find, and click Files or Folders.
    2. Make sure that "Look in" is set to (C and that "Include subfolders" is checked.
    3. In the Named box, type (or copy and paste) the following file names:

    command.exe buddylist.exe registryreminder.exe aimrem*.*
    4. Click Find Now.

CAUTION: The next step is to delete these files from your system. Make sure that you delete only the files listed, and if you typed the file names, that they were typed exactly as shown. Deleting the wrong file could cause your system to fail to start.
    5. In the results pane, select each displayed file, press Delete, and then click Yes to confirm.
    6. Close the Find Files or Folders window.
    7. Right-click the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop, and click Empty Recycle Bin.
    .....

    command.exe sounds like a virus. "command.com" in win9x or "cmd.exe" in winNT.
