    Holy friging shit!!!

    i thought my pc was as clean as could be, but its was full of the shitty crappy spyware. Ive been using spybot and adaware and the scan results was clean?

    giant found a whole load of shiet in its scan. is spybot and adaware simply old news?

    spybot and ad-aware are still having the best results in the test.

    what kind of files were detected?

    Thats what I'm finding too. Other that a couple of false ones concerning Limewire and Klite . But you can set up to ignore next time .

    Counterspy and Giant Anti-spyware are set to recognize kazaa.exe and magnet.exe as "threats" regardless what actual application they hail from. Same with eDonkey2000. It does not matter if they are clean versions or Pro.

    Counterspy is definitely an application I would love to find/locate a crack or keygen for. However, I think Sunbelt/Giant Software goes way overboard on what files it "defines" as malware.

    I think I would rather ere on the side of caution . You flag it , let me decide .

    @Izagaia I'v never heard of Counterspy . Man looked all over the crack sites too. . I took the liberty of linking the homepage , I see they have a 15 day trial . Might help some of our new members with malware troubles .

    I have been regularly checking the usual sites, as well for cracks and keygens for weeks now. It surprises me that something like "Counterspy" has escaped the attentions of cracking teams for this long.
