Newbie to filesharing

I am fairly new and ignorant to filesharing. I was into it before, but then got out...anyhow, I am interested in finding a very difficult file (Windows XP Tablet Edition) but when I search torrents and Ares, I find nothing. Are there other places to look which may produce a better result? Someone told me mIRC, but I don't know anything about it, and it seems kind of scary if it works the way that person explained it. Please give me some insight, as my new pen tablet will be arriving soon and I can't wait to update it! THANKS!
