Tell me, the CPU fan should be blowing hot air out? because my case has a grill on the side which allows air to go through but the fan is blowing air IN .. i wanty it to blow air hot... because its getting really hot in there and i could put another fan on the back to blow the air out and leave the cpu fan to blow air in...but for now, how do i reverse fan rotation?

Unscrew it, flip it, screw it back it.

    You turn the fan around.

The CPU fan should be blowing away from the heatsink BTW.

    Since when?

I have always seen the fan blow towards the heatsink.

You cannot flip the P4 fan. Just add a case fan at the back blowing out.

Some of the new Thermalright HSs (XP series) will work acceptably with the fan flow reversed...or so I'm told.
Experimentation would show if that was the case for your particular setup.
If you are running the stock HSF I wouldn't try to outguess the designers, work instead on bolstering the case cooling in general.

you should have a fan at the back of your case to remove the hot air.
also good to have a few intake fans to help bring in cold air as well.
