I have played stronghold 1, and it was really a good game....now Stronghold 2...wow, this game gonna rock...
can't wait for this game

It's funny to play Stronghold Crusader online with people in Gamespy, because some people are very good...nearly too good, so they end up having these ridiculously large amounts of crap all over the map..
I've seen guys who had 100 3-men wells (600 people), later turning off that task and in minutes sending an army of 300 spies. Insanity!

It was too easy to use a trainer on the first version of the game as well. You could easily hack the amount of your stock online in a game. Hopefully Stronghold 2 will prevent crap like that.

i love the cross section stuff, but other than that i'm more excited about age of empires

New version 1.2 patch corrects many problems in the game! A must download if you want a stable game!

Step 1: Run Stronghold 2 and it should automatically update to 1.2 if your online.


If step 1 fails, then manually download your correct version...which would be either 1.0 or 1.1:

* System for finishing games tweaked

General:

* Honor now received for using less lenient punishments
* Time until redemption bar on torture equipment panels
* Other tweaks to the crime system
* Fixed memory leak on higher end systems
* Reduced memory footprint
* Additional sfx added
* Various bug fixes implemented
