    Hmmm...not so sure.
    9800 Pros are easily available (used, in various forum Classifieds) in the $125-150 range ( I just got mine- a 128MB ATI- from OC Forums for $110) and although it can't bench as well as a 6600GT, the real world performance seems comparable to me.
    IMO, unless you can move to PCI-Express ( and even then it's more about future-proofing than performance) the new gen cards aren't really necessary yet.

    an mx440 handles that.
    even less than that can do it...it works on my old computer's 4mb onboard graphics...
