    Surprised/Amazed

What is the easiest way to split a xvid (.avi) file in 2 parts??

I found some VirtualDub guides but those are for Divx files.
Is there a difference between splitting a Divx or splitting a Xvid file?

the latest version of vdub supports xvid, but your avi file might give you an error message when opened if it had vbr mp3 audio encoded. in this case, you need "VirtualDub MP3", with all the same features as vdub but supports vbr encoding

No, no difference splitting DivX and Xvid

I personally use VirtualDubMod cos it can deal with mp3vbr

Always cut on a key frame, no matter what you use

As long as you got the codec for it, yes VD will be able to split it.
