It's the same with most UK providors.

UKOnline started it with 2MB unlimited for £29.99
then a few smaller companies followed (some with limits, some without

    AOL-256 users upgraded to 512 (17.99???)
    512 to 1MB (24.99)
    and 1MB-2MB (29.99????)

BT have followed. ALL BT products (except BT Broadband Basic) up to 2MB

    Broadband basic (512-1MB) (17.99) (capped at 5GB?)
    BT broadband (512-2MB) (15GB cap-£24.99) *My package*
    BT Yahoo broadband (512-2MB) (30GB cap - £29.99)
BT Business Single (512-2MB) (no caps) (29.99 + VAT)

From the top of my head. Feel free to correct.

I got my info from ADSLGuide earlier today.

edit: for all you non-UKers. This represents a massive jump in UK broadband. BT previously set the standard ADSL at 512 but now they are moving it up to 2MB. Quite a jump. However, UKOnline's 8MB for 39.99 (500GB/month (virtually no limit), is still the best broadband deal available in the UK market but other ISPs are to follow very soon

I do 400gb on 1.5meg UK line so i would easly do about 1TB a month on UKOnline so for the speed the cap is pritty shitty.

    How do you manage 400GB.

If it's any consilation, UKOnline is a guideline i.e. if you max it out every single month....but it looks like you do..

    How?

yeah i c what u mean browser, pretty much the same all round.

however AOL does have a benifit for us ghetto internet users AOL allows a broadband connection on an incoming line unlike other isps which saves me an extra £8 a month.

    Pennies make pounds

I do about 300 gb+/month on my 10mbps line, that's not bad considering i pay 54.99+tax for my cable tv (200+channels) and internet.
