When I got the cycle redundancy error, it was cause my hd was going bad. It gave out shortly after that

You can tell DVD Decryptor to skip read errors
i'm about 38% done and with 22 read errors and 740 retries and reading at a slow .1x-.2x

I keep getting this error "cycle redundancy check-error" about 1/2 way through the disk read.
I have tried other programs i.e. Clone DVD, Any DVD, DVDXCopy and DVD Decrypter. all have similar error, the disk does not seem to have alot of scratches or marks, or at least no more then usual from Blockbuster.

    Can anybody help?
i had that on one of my disks.. chuck it in the bin

I don't think it's wise to "chuck it in the bin" for a rented DVD from Blockbuster.
