Thread: Frog Dissection

  1. #1
I have noticed that some of you guys on this board are high school students. Perhaps you could help me with an inquiry I have regarding a recent lab I did (A frog dissection)

This is the only question on my lab I did not know the answer to:

    A) Knowing that the frog lives in water, explain why the dorsal side is dark and the ventral side is light.

    ???

I have no clue, but maybe someone nice can just give a simple answer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Frogs don't live in water, but they spend a considerable amount of time there. Frogs are amphibians; they can live in water, but typically don't after the tadpole stage. Not sure if that helps but, there ya go...
