Ermm.. the first guide I had read already and the second one doesn't help at all because I downloaded this vcd and CD 1 and 2 have AVSEQ files in it. So I don't know what to do.

try renaming them .mpg and then burn then as a VideoCD or as data if your DVD player supports that format.

when you burn VCD's the data gets written as .dat files on the CD, someone just copied them from a VCD without renaming them mpg

Yeah but there are multiple files for CD1, approximately 6. and I don't think I should change them all of to mpeg.

well if theyre from a VCD then theyre MPEG-1 (mpg)
if theyre from a SVCD then theyre MPEG-2 (m2v)
try it and see if they play in WMP or whatever you use, you can always rename them back to dat before you delete them :p

rename the DAT files MPG, then when you use nero select format>other>VideoCD
forget the other files that aren't dat files, they will be created when nero burns
