    Surprised/Amazed

I'm using DVD Decrypter to ripp a movie called Unbreakable onto my computer, but I keep getting a certain hardware read error or two. It retries 30 times and gives up with an error message. Now, I using a disk doctor on this thing twice and there are still some slight little scratches, but nothing major. I don't understand.. is this some kind of copy protection? There's one suspicious scratch I can't seem to remove with buff cloth. What are some methods to remove a scratch on a dvd? I have already tried mixing baking soda with toothpaste and buffed it out onto the scratch, but it only helped remove it some. I still get the error. Either than constantly adding and buffing this toothy-soda paste I made, what else could I try? I'm pretty sure it's a scratch problem.

    Laugh

never mind, I used the toothpaste and baking soda method once more and the dvd copied flawlessly. Not a single error.
Even though the scratch was still there, this little paste fixed it somehow.
Buff it in at least twice if you have dvd scratches. Good luck!
