Thread: Ntl Upgrade Now

    You can upgrade your NTL Broadband connection for free now. Going from 750k to 2mb and 1.5meg up to 3mb. The 300k users cannot upgrade right at the moment.

    To upgrade go to http://www.ntlworld.com/data-feeds/e...tierMigration/

    It only takes about a minute and im cruising at 370kb/s right now Also 3mb users got an upload upgrade, however only up to 350k which means 40-45kb/s uploading.

    Are they going to cap it though peerzy to 15Gb a month.????

    is this definately a free upgrade because they were saying that there was going to be a £25 one of payment .

    I rang them up before i upgraded to ask about the cap.They said that it`s always been capped at 1GB a day.I then asked them what if i went over my monthly allowence and they just said that you get a talking to if you abuse it but the FBI are`nt gonna come round to your house.

    You are on a 1GB cap a day before the upgrade anyway, they dont give a shit.

    According to a post i read on the ntlhell forum 300k users will be getting an an upgrade to 1mb, not sure when. The 3gb a month cap on them makes the 1gb a day cap look good.

    The new uploads speeds are meant to be


    1Mb - 100K upstream
    2Mb - 200K upstream
    3Mb - 300K upstream
