i was gonna say try 'n' see how much lexan would cost,
(as clocker said, it wouldnt be hard to build)
then i saw this......
just a wee bit expensive
.125 in. thick sheets are only $157 though
and the bitch is, 4' x 8' sheets are the best way to go, even if you dont need that much,
because they almost triple the price per sq. ft. if you ask em to cut it

The trick to buying Lexan/Plexiglass is to go to a fabrication shop or distributor....they almost always have cutoffs to sell.

It's definitely Plexiglass I'm after, cleaning won't be a problem There's a local PC shop that has something similar to what I hope to build and the kind Sir that runs the shop simply replied with "Dunno" when I asked him where I could purchase the same sort of case
I don’t really fancy making one, if anyone knows of any similar desktop style cases then links will be much appreciated
