In all honesty I think we were playing a very much weakened French side, saving themselves for bigger games.

That said, the way we were last year, today was a definite improvement.

I see even the French team are saying they got away with a robbery. Some of the decisions by the officials were harsh in the extreme. To be fair to the French, they played it as the officials gave it without recourse to foul or unfair play; despite being behind for most of the game.

I didn't see the England Wales match so I am not sure how that went - although I know Wales won. England have had to ring the changes too - Wales and Ireland have the most settled sides.

Italy aside Ireland might just do it this year.

Just wanted to let you all know that the mighty JONAH LOMU is back training with the Allblacks after a long absence from the Rugby scene..This was due to him being on a Kidney dialysis machine...
