Problem is getting worse and I can’t work out why!
Originally thought it was my cd/writer but I’ve upgraded to a dvd/cd rewriter and the problem is still the same(or worse!).
    Here’s what I do.
    1. Download an album.
    2. Listen to it on wmp to check it’s ok.
    3. Burn it to disc using Nero.
    4. Stick the disc into my cd player and it’s knackered, all I can listen to is the first couple of tracks and the rest of the tracks are unplayable!

I used to be able to burn whole albums with no probs, and can still burn films without a prob, anyone else have this problem?

Made me think about Nero. For some reason I have to reinstall every few months ,or when a new version comes out. It seems to ge corrupted for some funny reason. But thats a start, just reinstall Nero or your flavour of burning software.

Shit, sorry thought I hit edit button .

The whole problem of MP3 compatibility is odd.

I have on Onkyo 6-disc carousel CD changer (vintage 1995) on my main stereo that plays EVERYTHING.

I have an AIWA mini-system (1998) on top of my 'fridge that plays EVERYTHING.

I have a one-year-old Sony boombox with cd/MP3 "capability" (ha!) that won't play ANY MP3s.

Ya I know, nothing worse than checking out on my puter that it works Only to find it won't work on my car or home player. BS
