Thread: Bitcomet to Azureus Port Problem

  1. #1
Hi, I have had to ditch my tried and trusted Bitcomet as most of the private trackers have banned it so I have changed to Azureus but the port I have been using for the past 12 months on Bitcomet (25967) is coming up as NAT error with Azureus and I cannot get any green lights.

    Any ideas?

    do you have a firewall?
    do you have a router?
do you have port 25967 forwarded (if you have a router)?

i seem to remeber something about windows firewall (i think) not letting things out even when you set it for the right port. just set azureus to use the port you were using with bitcomet (doh, i see that you did that). or change the port in azureus to port 80, and when windows firewall pops up and asks about it, say "let it go through", then change the azureus port back. I remember doing this with something. it was like the firewall had to detect the program by itself before it would even acknowlege it. it was like those high numbered ports were completely ignored by the firewall.

Tracker status says ok. I think i'm going to fook it off and get another client.

Port 80 also has NAT errors?
