It seems that in a few forums i post in, i keep getting getting the same biased reply to got with psu from the most popular brand. And well i dont want to . Im wondering if anyone knows a good site for a review for a powe supply (PSU) like this, please. Or anyone on here, who has used this psu.

For $49 you would be better off with: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...103-913&depa=0

I know but the 12V is really low, and i want something with some good wattage that'll be able to handle alot of computer components. And also i want a high 12V so i can oc my athlon really high. Another reason reason i dont like using popular brand is that they're overpriced and they dont have what i need, but that's just me.

Your Athlon doesn't run off the 12v rail.

Well i want a psu with high ampage and wattage. Sorry but the antect just isnt what i prefer. I could have gotten an ultra x connect , but i have to real tight budget. By the way if the cpu doesnt run off 12V then what volts does it run out of then ?

The ultra X connect aren't that great. Kind of overprice.

Just because that rosewill says it's 500watts doesn't mean it actually is. It's better to ahve a quality power supply than one with a high wattage rating.

yeah i was a bit worried about that, i know it'll probably perform at the level of a 450w psu. But im thinking of just going along with the powmax 580W Demon, since i just want a cheap/decent psu. Do you think or do you know of anyone that knows if the this psu will be good enough to oc a cpu alot without raising the volatge of it (cpu) up high ?

    You obviously don't want quality.
