Thread: asp.net on windows Xp home

    hey all


    is there any alternative to running asp.net on windows xp home? becasue i tried that iis on xp home crap and it really screws up xp home i got to the last step and when i tried to click the box where it says iis i couldnt adn when iremovoed it it says could not load components and some other crap so is there a diffrent way of runnign asp.net on windows xp home. I have a legal version of Xp home and i dont want to buy pro casue im saving up for Xbox 2 lol

    and i do believe that IIS is only available with XP Pro
    it isnt very practicle on home i think

    yea , thats why im asking if there is an ALTERNATIVE lol i tried sun one asp pages but it only runs asp 2.0 and 3.0 i want a server thatll run asp.NET

    Whats keeping you from getting XP Pro ? Many ways to get it , and lots of ways to change the keys . I mean one our newest members got from here.
