Thread: Windows Media Player Crashes

    Hey everytime Firfox or IE or any browser tries to stream and load WMP it crashes.. now i've reinstalled the MEGA CODEC PACK and also WMP ... what else can i try?

    lol, be patient and nice. THat way, people will want to help u.


    Erm, you can try scanning for virus/spyware. Install K-Lite Codec pack. Might be a codec problem. And personally, i dont use Windows Media Player. I use Winamp, VideoLAN and Media Player Classic instead. Much better.

    within the first two items are url sites that you can download tools ,if you
    can't resolve your problem...think back to when this first started...perhaps
    something added caused this condition. if you give us more info, we may be
    able to narrow down and resolve the conflict.

    nar but when i stream from a website i need WMP.
