Msn Virus

I was stupid one day and clicked one of those types of viruses. the message said "Check out this funny thing!" or something like that, so i clciked it, open, bam virus.
The file type was .pif, but for some reason i thoguht it was a .gif.

The virus opens up a ocnvo with everyone on the list that's online and sends that message that i received along with the file url. i realized what was happening and turned off my comp so i dont think it sent to too many people.

But it wasnt this virus, it was something else, cant remember the name.

@rossco , ya best to warn our little siblings or kids sharing our computers .

Made me think if you or I could fall prey to, it no ones safe !

funny thing is that my friends, who mknow nothing about computers, didn't click it. they all ask me "what's that?" first. so they were lucky.

I'm just stupid.

Last nite while half asleep on the couch watching tv . My little guy was surfing for school , ZA popped with a warning he says Dad whats that ? Wife sitting beside him say's just click allow it will go away ! I just about had a stroke !

He's more computer savvy than the wife .

well teach the wife to read what it says then the kids will learn too.

tsk tsk....rossco, you knew better

now you guys know why I dont click anything at all

God Himself could IM or email me....
and I would ask Him to verify it

I think I've clicked about 4 or 5 emailed links in my life,
and those were all forum registration validations
plus I don't spend hardly any time in IM apps,
and none at all in MSN (yuk!)
