How about if we have an annual FST awards night, with a month leading up the awards to make nominations?

Award members for things like:
Creepiest avatar (see wacko jacko's for an example)
Most helpful member
Best newcomer
Most n00b friendly member
Best tip

That's just to get the ball rolling... more award suggestions, anyone?

Also, we could impliment a voting system similar to the ratings slashdot members give on a per post basis.

Post ratings could be like:
great post
good post
funny post
crap joke/pun
old news
spam
stfu/gtfo

It'll just give members a bit more interactivity and be good for a laugh.

my reuqest is that you listen to our requests and then use those requests and listen to the members, coz without members this doesn't exist

actually a better idea why not let us as members see the trash section which the mods and admins get too see I see some forums such as soul seek have a graveyard, why is it ok for mods and admins too see deleted posts and not us members/? saves us after having a week off to catch up on drama that has been long gone and we get "wtf happened to blahblah"

That's possible.

I've seen more forums that do this.

But then we need to remove all the spam links, so teh members can't click em and the poster dont get any money etc.. Now we just trash em.

If the other mods/admins agree we can make it public I've started a thread about it in the TC

agree with you IKE get rid of the spam links to websites and of cause the really really really bad offensive posts or of cause cracks etc that actually break the rules
