Winxp Service Pack Problem

Can anyone help with my IE 6 problem? After downloading a version of XP Service Pack 1, my internet explorer has a lot of German language contols. Right clicking etc produces this. I downloaded a second versionof the service pack and installed, but this did not help with the problem. A few other programs are also showing the same problem eg movie maker. Does anyone know of a quick fix? I dont want to reinstall XP or learn German!
I took that particular download as it had the most users, (I send a warning when it is downloaded from me)and there was no indication of it being in German, so there must be other non Germans out there trying to fix this!

Try going to Add/Remove hardware and deleting SP1 and THEN try reinstalling the english version.
