    does anyone know a good app to change dvds to avi? if you have that app and can send it to me please PM me. thanks

    Or you could use DrDivX,
    the only thing is that the .avi you'll get
    will be a DivX encoded.

    I highly reccomend auto GK as posted by asmithz, it creates avi's in divx or xvid format and for a free app its class

    I havent needed to try a later version as of yet,
    but wouldnt want to get some infested piece o' chit

    oh yeah....
    asmithz's link was to GK, not autoGK, theres a difference
    (GK being much better IMO)

    I would recommend DrDivx. Its quick and really easy for the average user. Converts DVD to AVI in the click of a button. You just set certian things. And one of the features that i like best is that u can set the file size u want and it will auto set the quality and everything. So if you want to rip a DVD to CD, just set the file size to 700MB and everythingelse is basically done for u. Really neat.

    are you sure? i ran spysweeper and adaware and they found nothing.
