Advice about installing Opera 8.0 sought.

I've been using 7.54u2 b3929 wo java. Can I load 8.0 over 7.54 or do I have to uninstall 7.54 first? I want to keep all my Bookmarks & settings. Any specific detailed & simple help is appreciated. Thanks.

If you wanna keep everything, install over it to the same directory, OR

OR OR OR!!

It might work if you save to a different directory and import your bookmarks from the old version. Even if this doesn't work seamlessly, you still have your backup old folder.

As for me, I just installed on top of the old version. 8 works nicely!
