    Is the nVidia 6600 regular version (non gt) better than the radeon 9800pro? or how does it compare against it ?

    yup 6600 is supossedly the best valued video card currently.

    i thought the 6600 GT was the best valued! its only 180$

    I wouldn't bother.
    The performance would not be significantly better (if at all) and you'd be investing money in a card that will not carry over to your next build.

    alright, but does anyone know if the card itself is as good or better than the radeon 9800 pro or non-pro?

    That didn't specifically answer my question smart ass.

    According to what i saw on a forum linked by google, a few minutes ago; the 9800 pro's performance falls between a 6600 and 6600GT. So then the 6600's performance falls slightly below a 9800, with the the 6600GT beating the the 9800 pro by a little bit also, even with its 128mb bit setup.
