Install a graphics card.

you shouldnt need to go into the bios to switch to AGP
just plug the card in, plug the monitor in, done
it will give you video, just laggy because of drivers not being installed yet

Unless it has onboard video with a dvi port (in which case you need a vga adapter), which I find unlikely, you really need a graphics cardOk I dunno if I'm just being dense here or what, but my new mobo has no vga port

Not all mobos come with integrated graphics you know.
If you do have a graphics card, just plug it in

Ok gcard was in, got it working
It actually turned out I had'nt quite plugged the mobo power lead in properly, or it got pulled out in shifting stuff about
