i think they're doing a great job for just diving in again. your perception may be due to the fact that this show was hyped up *a lot* for its return. i think its pretty much the same, and thats pretty freaking awesome.

ya, as lee said, this was hyped "a shitload", but to see it back in its glory again, just plain sweetness. as for the simpsons, every episode that they come out with makes me get even more pissed. simpsons has been destroyed, and it was truly a good show...once. as for family guy, like i said, sweet sweet sweetness

the simpsons has sucked ever since season 10. (seasons 3 to 9 are CLASSICS)
family guy is funny, but hasn't reached "legendary" status yet...
they signed for 36 new episodes so we've got 34 more to go to judge... nonetheless, it's the best show on tv right now with the Daily Show with Jon Stewart...
