I saw this movie lastnight at a pre-screening and it rawks!!! Fantasic special effects and funny as crap. ( I even scored a free t-shirt)
I didnt know it was a British movie but I love Monty Python and this movie was right down that alley. (Weird kind of humor)
The little manic depressed robot was so cute lol
    Zaphod Beeblebrox was Hot
The funny thing also was all the ppl there with towels or in bathrobes...reminded me of Rocky Horror Picture Show lmao

This was one of my fav movies and a must see!

Had you read the book, heard the radio show or seen the tv series before?

it’s an election with no Democrats, in one of the whitest states in the union, where rich candidates pay $35 for your votes. Or, as Republicans call it, their vision for the future.

Actually no, I heard of the book I think it came out in the 70's? and I'm not sure but did the series come out on PBS stations?
I'm just a big scifi fan.

ihave heard mixed reviews. so far all the fans seem to be up in arms about having to cut out alot of the jokes which is rather irratating.

still glad you enjoyed it, i will be seeing it.

This confirms what I said all along....

Whatever you see (or read) first....if you liked it, you probably won't like the translation to film or remake.

Most American audiences will love this movie because most of us either didn't watch or like the British version(s).

I hope they have it at the drive-in.....on second thought this movie looks like it should be for the regular cinema,
Silly bitch, your weapons cannot harm me. Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, Bitchhhh!

i've read the book, and it's a damn good (funny) book.

Is that right Ford Prefect is a black American? A bt ironic, that... much like the alien posing as an illegal alien at the beginning of MIB.
