ehh, i meant some stuff like AV, Firewall, Spyware Cleaner, ect. Things to help the computer. She can get the other stuff later. :-p

Sygate
Spysweeper
System Mechanic

firefox
and below is a super basic and very safe auto registry tweaker for XP
which i shoove into all noob machines
(open in notepad to see what it does)

Yea trojan scanner is a good one, can you recommend one?

trojan scanner is good.

and don't forget hijackthis...you can go to www.hijakcthis.de and paste the log to have it analyse for you. (incase u didn't know about it)

Thanks i didnt know that, but i need a program that will just scan and fix it real quick. Is hijackthis the program i need to use?
