Well, i am thinking of building a new comp. I don't have the money to just buy everything up front, so i have to buy a little each paycheck. I would say it would take about 3 paychecks for me. ANyways, is it worth it. I mean is it worth getting the best stuff now, or waiting for whats coming soon. Is there anything worth waiting for? or should i juts get what i want to get now, and upgrade later?

There will always be better stuff later on, and you can't wait forever.

But you should also ask yourself how long you think what you have now can last.
Can you play the games you want to play, and does it run whatever else you want it to run? If it does, then you needn't hurry, and if you do wait, your next setup will be even better, so it'll last longer before you have to upgrade again, and so on.

Yea well, i can play anything out now. Just i cant play it at 100% of what it should be. I want to be able to play Doom 3 on ultra settings :-p I want to be able to play the next gen games with no problem. But i dont want something like spending $400-$800 on a card and then another one comes out, same thing mabey but cheaper. Or buy the best CPU out, and then someone deside to put out a multi core chip witch makes the one i bought a waste of money. I can wait longer, but it sucks.

You could wait for the geforce 7s to hit the market good and proper, by then the dual cores should have been out for a bit too and thus they should be more reasonably priced. That's going to make for an interesting machine.
