Thread: Ultimate Newbie Question

  1. #1
Hi. I'm trying to convert ac3 to wav/mp3. The guides say to extract ac3 using veedub to a .wav file. I've done that just fine. Then it says to rename the file to a ".ac3" extension. If I go into the browser and choose rename the ".wav" extension is always tacked onto the end so that the next program won't recognize it.

So.. how do you change the extension?

Also to get around this problem I was using BeSweet. It allowed me to keep it as was. It was working great, then the next time I tried to use it I got a weird error. I've tried unistalling and reinstalling and can't seen to correct the problem.

if using the default folder, open My Shared Folder> Tools> Folder options> View tab, and uncheck "Hide extensions for known files"

    Edit*

    and then rename

I always thought the ultimate newbie question was:

"My computer says to press any key to begin. Where the hell is the any key?!"
