Thread: Windows firewall

    Mines stopped working, whenever i try to start it I get this message, whats wrong?



    I also have Sygate installed, so do i need to worry about it?

    Have you been playing around turning services off and on.

    Looks like you have disabled the service.

    If Sygate is up and running normally without conflict, why are you bothering with Windows Firewall?

    At any rate, you should have only one firewall running to avoid connection issues when browsing/accessing internet resources. I am surprised that a warning message from Sygate did not appear with this same statement. Choose one of them then stick with it. You do not gain any added layer of protection by running both.

    yeah, either you turned the service off, or someone did it for you



    at any rate, Windows firewall should be outlawed, it's utter shit
    I've been on Win XP for, hell I guess about 3 yrs now,
    and I haven't used their firewall in about, hmmm, 3 yrs
